Bill. Thanks for your postings. I just posted to Ann about the WCOM/Sprint merger. Man. If it's not one thing, it's another.
GOV is starting to make it real hard on cos. to get ahead. I guess they don't care if the cos. end up making money or not as long as the consumer supposedly gets things practically for free. Even Joe Kernan said this morning something like: I guess it would not be the best thing for WCOM'Sprint getting together. Long distance could go back to 1 cent a minute. He was kidding of course, but his thoughts were right.

Just like the Gov. is saving the consumer from Msft. Brother, spare me a dime.

And then I watched the President and Greenspan on the tube this morning. Clinton introduced the FED CHAIRMAN with the words: When Greenspan speaks, the world listens. I personally are starting to throw up when I just hear Greenspan's voice. gg. This was a nice little scene the Pres. and Greenspan promoting cheap imports coming into the country. I guess Greenspan thinks that the labor force would increase if we transport our factories to China with no big hope of opening up the trade so our deficit with them would shrink. And here I thought he talked a little while ago that he was worried about this ever increasing trade deficit. I guess he was speaking with a forked tongue again.
