Earlie, I've been a PC upgrader for the last 12 years; this was the first time I rolled my own from the ground up -- the case, the fans, the memory, the video, processor, and everything else. Nice to know how to create my own monster! I even build my own computer table for it and wired my house for CAT5 & a 100BaseT LAN. BTW, my interest in getting an Athlon AMD came from Intel -- that is, the embedded serial number that Intel put in it's PIII processors last year. I just didn't like their attitude, and I have too many privacy concerns to add that to the list. The thing that clinched the Athlon for me was the aggressive price cuts this year.
