eDispatch.com Signs Evaluation Agreement with Motient

VANCOUVER, May 18 /CNW/ - eDispatch.com Wireless Data Inc. (CDNX:EWD) and
Motient Corporation (NASDAQ:MTNT), formerly known as American Mobile Satellite
Corporation, today announced the signing of an agreement to evaluate the
eDispatch system on Motient's industry-leading terrestrial wireless data
network.
The eDispatch system consists of an Internet-based software application,
wireless data airtime, and two-way mobile devices. Companies can dispatch job
orders, track their progress, and manage and deploy workers in real-time-
thereby increasing the efficiency and productivity of their mobile workforce.
"eDispatch.com has reached another milestone in the execution of a global
wireless data strategy in our relationship with Motient," said Brian Ellis,
President and CEO of eDispatch.com.
Wireless data users on Motient's ARDIS(R) network are primarily in the
transportation, field service, and other markets that require access to time-
sensitive information in their daily jobs-and the eDispatch system has been
designed to provide these key benefits in a highly cost-effective manner.
Motient's two-way data network features the most pervasive coverage and
deepest in-building penetration available, serving 425 metropolitan areas in
all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Motient will be
evaluating the eDispatch system with the RIM 850 Wireless Handheld(TM) device.
