I can't comment because I don't understand the networking business very well. Perhaps someone on the CSCO thread can comment, but common sense tells me, that CSCO may not always depend upon acquisitions for growth. Most likely, at some point in time, they will be happy with what they have acquired, and will grow their earnings from this point.

As far as their P/E goes there are many, many companies with P/E in the 400s or even 1,000,00 and many don't have a P/E at all. Yet, their share price is higher than CSCOs.
