This is entirely consistent with my statement above. One of the things that gorilla hunters have to keep an eye on is the formation of tornado's in the sector. Imo this quote, from today?s release, from L. Scott Perry, vice president, strategy and business development for AT&T Business Services highlights an important development for Echelon, and is entirely relevant to potential tornado formation in the sector "Working with Echelon and the other Association members will enable us to develop and deliver the right set of network services to our customers for networking LONWORKS control networks across wide area networks -- like the Internet."
Both these direct quotes are from you, a person who posted on G&K that he never even finished reading Moore's G&K "text" book.
Imho, Moore?s book contains considerable depth, and since I have a reasonable modicum of patience, and I want to properly understand and absorb what he is saying, I am taking my time in getting through the text. In the beginning I tend to scan and not read from beginning to end in a straight line. Consequently, there are sections of the book that I have not read thoroughly.
And while I'm asking questions you can answer, would you please shed some conversational light on you referring to yourself as having "limited [investment] experience" in your SI profile?
I find that learning is an ongoing process and that I learn new things every day. I hope to never lose this facility since it makes life interesting. At any point in time whatever I know, whatever experience I have had, is and will be limited when compared to the reservoir of knowledge and experience that I hope to have in the future. I purposefully described my experience as "limited", since compared to some people I know, this is true, and in no instance would I ever want or expect others to act on the basis of what I say on these boards. There is no substitute for doing one's own DD if you are to be a responsible investor and understanding the company in which you have put your money, (and your own motivations), is imo, the only way that gives you a fighting chance to astutely interpret developments wrt your chosen equity. There is nothing like understanding why you hold a stock, knowledge is power, and mine is "limited".
I believe it is fair to those who would like to evaluate the value of your ELON posts, regardless of whether they are posted on G&K or on ELON thread. Would you please share what limited experience you posses that permits your posturing as an ELON expert here a/w/a on G&K?
These boards are a forum for exchanging ideas and information between interested parties. My knowledge wrt Elon is limited to the ongoing DD that I perform and I have as much right to post this, and my opinions as anyone else. You might interpret my posts as posturing, but if you read my posts properly you would see that in fact I go to great lengths to explain that I am just a layman and am doing my best to figure out this story, which is one that is developing and changing on a daily basis. This line from the 3rd post, listed above, is imho, pretty clear. ..>>Caution: I have a lot ?I think?, ?I believe?, ?I suspect? etc in many of my posts. I am telling Echelon?s story as I see it and want to be clear that this is JMHO.

Ole 49r, I took exception with the way in which you had responded to a previous post of mine. You were upset and fired back. Fair enough....time to drop it.
