DSL has a tremendous advantage imo over cable. In our area, the cable goes out constantly, especially when it rains. The other night both A & B channels were out for over an hour. That is totally unacceptable for internet access. The problem with DSL is that it is not available in our area and will not be for the foreseeable future. They've been saying a couple of months for more than six months. If Sprint comes in with fixed wireless, that's the way I am going.
