Had a chance to meet HK Desai in the hallway- Didn't realize who he was. Heard some guy talking to him about Qlogic while badmouthing Ancor at the same time.
I started talking to him and chimed in that i thought it was a great deal for Qlogic and then asked them if he worked for Q and the other guy said "This is Mr. Qlogic."
to which I said -"Your the CEO?" and congratulated him on the deal. The other guy who seemed to be a journalist(just a guess) commented that those other guys (Ancor) was suspect to him while praising QLOGIC as well as Brocade as HK explained to him that this was a great deal for both sides and emphasized the synergies- Qlogic marketing, ability to build FC infrastructure and client base versus Ancor's technical excellence and near ramp.
HK also hopes to maintain a good working relationship with Brocade as more often then not the switch is picked by the customer and not Qlogic but that opportunities would arise for Q-Ancor as customers now looking more for end to end solutions. He also didn't think that Brocade could not work with Q as Q has a big customer base and solid reputation and gets picked as the HBA and indrastructure provider well before brocade comes on the scene. Once the rhetoric dies down this will become apparent
I don't think anything is going to break this deal IMO.
HK backing it all the way and I'm sure he's had alot of FUD coming his way.

My guess is that Cal stays on as GM of Ancor and Ken leaves.
