I haven't posted a pick in a while. Thought I'd point out an outstanding short opportunity in PLCM. I shorted it just before the close at 66 15/16. Notice how this stock meets all of the criteria for an excellent swing short trade: Stock in a downtrend on the daily chart. Stock in a short term rally over the past several days. Stock seems to be weakening and beginning to reverse back to the downside... => Short this puppy! My stop will be above 71 1/2. Once again, I'll look for further weakness in the Nasdaq to help my cause... Good luck, -Eric P.S. The sad thing about this trade setup is that I was trying to short this stock for the last 40 minutes of the day and couldn't get an uptick from 68 1/2 all of the way down to 66 1/2. The stock finally reversed and rallied near the close, providing an opportunity to get short. Very discouraging, though, losing almost 2 points to the uptick rule... Still a beautiful setup, almost perfect in my book for a swing short.
