I know i sound like i'm all rah-rah for U.S. consumption/consumerism society, which is not the case. But i must say, if not for the wild consumption habits of the average person in the us, and our willingness to risk $$ on new businesses, then we would never have gotten anywhere near this level. So who cares if it pulls back some, as it is starting to now? Better this than 12% unemployment and an intrusive, insular, and suffocating govt like France has!
