that's simple...symbol GOLD. second largest producer in the world, cheapest gold stock there is (in terms of market valuation of reserves), profitable, good management, lots of cash.

only drawback is it's an African co. - if you worry about political risk, go for one of the NorthAm majors like NEM, HM or PDG.

frankly, i don't believe one needs to worry about the pol. risk in this instance. the South African mining houses are very adept at surviving in Africa.
