JT, Cope, Margin, Albedo, Geoff, etc - Lurker here...

Sorry to intrude.

Ran across this thread several weeks ago by doing a "stock talk search" on JDSU & have been following ever since. Appreciate all your "market analysis" enormously.

Confession: As a 1 3/4 year investor/trader, I have not appreciated general market analysis until the recent Mar/Apr debacle. Ok, so I have a lot to learn. I'm trying. And believe it or not, I survived quite well by position trading & maintaining a very small core in these stocks:

CSCO - now slightly red
JDSU - still black
ORCL - still black
A few small caps we won't talk about

Also interested in PMCS, SDLI and a few others

Been looking at a lot of charts tonight. COMP & NDX took a nasty stochastics turn today. I also look at trendline tops & bottoms to play inbetween & watch 50-100-200 sma & ema for clues.

I'm not familiar with the Rydex stats quoted & am uncertain of their revelance. Englighten me, please.

Catching a falling knife has worked for me about 50% of the time as long as my limit orders are placed based on infor 2 paragraphs above.

My concerns at this time (in my limited capacity) are based on (1) nasty turns in COMP & NDX today near close and (2) JDSU's KK resignation announced today. Re: JDSU, announcements of this type usually run deeper than appear on the surface... ETEK/DOJ merger problems in light of recent WCOM DOJ denouncement & MSFT anti-trust problems?????

Looking for all your enlightened input.

TIA
