Hi all; Re Micron and the other Dramurai walking out of the Intel conference a day early.
This is rather insulting behavior, not the kind of thing one would want to do to a strong, dangerous, gorilla. Unless of course, it is behind bars in the zoo. That appears to be the case.
Since the Dramurai have now clearly got Intel caged up, we should look up some information on the web about the behavior of captive gorillas. Ah, here's a good one:

Yep, no question about it, captive gorillas end up eating "scrap", as I suggested in my poem. #reply-13730432

P.S. I'm sorry that I am getting such a laugh out of this whole thing at the thread's expense, but this was all but written up in the EE trade articles multiple times over the last 2 years. It must come as quite a shock to the friends and lovers of RMBS to discover that their company is actually quite disliked in the industry, and that the industry would ignore perfectly good profits in order to destroy Rambus. Suing the people that pay you royalties (over a product that you didn't design, and for triple damages, no less) is never a good idea, that had to be the final straw. When the industry bands together and refuses to break ranks and talk to you one on one it is a very bad sign indeed. |
