Flat panels: Do any of the fine technical minds posting here see EMA (eMagin) as a contender in the flat panel space? Looking at their website, it appears they are, although their prototype product (just shown at recent display conferences) appears to be a micro-projection device for what amounts to a personal "heads-up" display along the lines that USAF jets have. I can see great use for both technologies in consumer products, but I don't know how to compare PANL's Princeton research group and IPR to EMA's own IPR, developed from a base of EK-licensed patents and put to use at their IBM facility. Mostly apples and oranges, perhaps, with a flat panel intersection?
