Doug - Barrick is a liquid holding - trades high volumes every day - shareholders can cash in their chips at any time and move on and buy something else. I compared the stock performance with about 6 other major producers for the year to date - Barrick and Newmont are the best of the bunch so far - but neither is UP, marginally at best. It does indicate however that shareholders are not deserting the ship. Grant investors a little more intelligence than we see here on this thread.

If this launches you into another prose poem - so be it!
