tom k. "our skill in using them"
very true, at the moment even the "experts" are fumbling....look at yesterday's option advisor, posted on another thread touting sebl, based on technicals.....i had responded earlier to ritch that it was a bit top heavy...
many mistakes are being made now on entry points, it is a stochastic market, and most technical indicators even if appearing positive will be negated by the mass of the market movement.
one must look into the rearview mirror, a thought that some scoffed at just a few manic bull months ago.....things repeat, as they are now....
look for not only the underlying to be oversold, but also the associated index....will give a bit more chance, and lessen risk should you be compelled to trade...i'd rather set jan01 positions, sit back, ignore them, catch them and high volatility and be happy with what the time erosion gives me....
your calls should be looking good...
