Brent crude oil for July settlement (COA CT) rose as
much as 28 cents, or 1 percent, to $29.20 a barrel on London's
International Petroleum Exchange. The gain reflected demand from
investment funds and expectations oil-products supply in Europe
will decline following BP Amoco Plc's decision to reduce refinery
operation rates in Europe because of poor profit margins
