why? because almost 70% of England's GDP goes to social services.... yet another practice that we, as hardworking Americans (including doctors), won't tolerate. just as you can find fault in our tax system and political system, you can find fault in our medical system. truth is, however, it remains the best in the world. while i'm one who believes nearly everything is overregulated by the government, healthcare remains one area that needs regulation....

that's not too egotistical, is it? and, as for turning away the medicare patients.... shame on those doctors. believe it or not, there are medicare and medicaid patients who don't have the means to pay for healthcare.... that being said, i do think the medicaid and medicare systems need an overhaul.
