Chief, (I have found that crow is more palatable if you drench it in barbeque sauce. I agree that the beaks and claws are an acquired taste but they do add roughage.) Yes, wiping out a lot of wealth to accomplish a political result is mind boggling. But a power broker might rationalize the action. You could try greater long-term good for society - after all the economy can be put back on track in November and those investors who keep their powder dry will be fine, a demonstration to the irrationally exhuberent that too much margin is a dangerous thing, pay-back to GHW Bush (Senior) for costing him his last election, or just -I have the power, why not use it-. There are probably others
