WHY IS THE COMPANY SO QUIET???

If further stock price collapse occurs in the near-term, as a shareholder I would expect either a buy-back announcement
or, at the least, better corporate guidance with regard to 2000 anticipated EPS.

21½ + 22½ + 23½ + 24½ = 90½

I would expect neither because past history shows us that when this happened before and the price tanked all the way down to $5 and change, no pronouncements were made (as far as I recall anyway). I'm sure if they think it will come good in the end, they'll just sit tight. And if anything is wrong, they'll issue announcements even if just so they dont get sued. So, here's hoping no announcements till the next set of figures.

Also, look at the market. Everything is tanking right now. And as a little-followed stock we are off the radar, which doesn't help. Plus, I wonder if there isa secondary effect of people preserving their profits? Though more likely its still the backwash from Seagate. I would certainly welcome an official announcement from Seagate or Sandisk that said that that particular episode was over.
