3Com Again Ranked #1 in the Small Business Networking Market by Cahners In-Stat Group
SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 19, 2000--According to the latest Cahners In-Stat Group report (April 2000), 3Com Corporation maintained its #1 ranking among small business network hardware vendors in the U.S. market during the second half of 1999. The report, 'Growth Market Rankings for Network Hardware: Small Business, 2H 1999,' rates 3Com far above competitors such as Intel, Nortel and Cisco, and also shows 3Com extending its lead over the second-place vendor compared to the first half of 1999.
Across multiple key categories evaluated in the Cahners In-Stat study, 3Com is rated as the top vendor in breadth of product portfolio, focused VAR and retail channel strategies and availability of easy-to-use Web resources. As further proof of its enhanced focus on the small business market, the study shows that 3Com increased its score in each of these four areas compared to the first half of 1999.
