I use a separate quote provider for my primary data source. It's only wise, system problems happen.

I lost 5pts the other day -- Island being down added to the trouble, but part of the risk of trading is the risk of system problems. By and large, I've found Cyber very reliable, better than most. It is worse than it used to be, but still acceptable for me.

I expect the problem with stuck orders on Island has something to do with the fact that transactions need to be confirmed, and allowing the system to allow unconfirmed transactions cancel would allow for duplicate fills and/or orders during regular trading times. Just a guess.
