Obviously, I have a second quote service (actually I have 3), otherwise I wouldn't know that Cyber's quotes are wrong, and I do believe every trader should have more than one distinct quote service on separate feeds. That however, is not the point - the wrong quotes affect many aspects of the trading software - such as having the wrong price pop up in your box - so now if you want to trade, you have to manually change to the right price, etc. That slows you down, and affects your trading.
Is Cyber by and large reliable? There is no broker (and cannot be one) that is 100% reliable - technical problems are a part of the proposition. However, I expect my broker to be among the best, if not THE best. But in recent weeks f.ex. lowly browser-based Datek has been FAR more reliable than Cyber. I find that very annoying. And some of problems Cyber has been having could be fixed, if only they'd put in the resources - again, annoying. I certainly don't blame them for things beyond their control, but what I find infuriating is when they fail in areas they need not fail in.
All IMO.
