Rocky, I doubt that SNDK is being hit because they invest, the hit to the bottom line will come through depreciation, but since the depreciation will be carried out in the JV, it should not hit SNDK (well, only to the extent that SNDK takes it's share of the JV start up losses on its income statement). Since this is going to b a "one time event", I do not see the market punishing SNDK for it, just as the market did not reward SNDK for the very large one time gain from the UMC stock sale.
