Dear Russell, LOL! re: Although I have never been to Europe I would guess this city is very much like Paris. Nothing here seems dangerous that I can tell - I see very little begging or hustling of any kind. It seems quite safe, even though there are almost no police and the ones there are seem to be very laid back and relaxed. HahahahA! Yeah, sure, Paris could be seen as Europe's Rio de Janeiro, sort of.... Except that most of its "Brazilian" crowd is to be chased in the Bois de Boulogne --by night! Here's a hint: paris-anglo.com
