Hi Alejandro:

This sentence probably alludes to two risks: a) the
demand for BW by customers may outstrip the capacity
of fixed wireless cells, which would push them towards
fiber, or b) point-to-multipoint technology (or possibly
ring based fixed wireless implementations) may not be able
to deliver te bandwidth on demand or quality of service
features that customers would be looking for.

The entire CLEC sector and non-incumbent telecom sector
is being squeezed very badly by the quasi-closure
of the junk bond market. I do not know why so few
analysts are commenting on it, but the credit markets
have essentially dried up. The issue is not whether
the Fed will slow down the economy-- this is already
a certainty. It is whether we are headed for a recession
in late 2000/early 2001.

Best regards,

Bernard Levy
