Zeev,
Royalties for CF card are based on percentage of revenue from the sale of the product, not a flat annual fee. It has been said that the percentage is quite a bit higher than the normal percentage because of the strength of the patents, and management's belief that it is the best alternative.

However, royalties for the SD card will be shared three way, with Toshiba and Matsushita. Also, I don't think that the royalty for MMC is as high as for CF.

All of this is based memory of past readings of SEC filings, and my memory not being what it once was, is always subject to error.

Aus,
Management won't say anything to support the stock here. They said nothing when it went to cash value a year and a half ago, or at any other time in the past 4 years or so since I have had a position in it. That isn't their role. Yeah, it's tough to hold during these kinds of drops, but so it goes. We/I didn't expect it to get this low, I didn't expect it to get up to the 160s until it started approaching it either. Imagination and hope take over on the upside, just as fear and anxiety take over on the downside. I still see nothing wrong with the company. If they keep executing the way they have been, the 160s won't be the all-time high.

With sympathy,
Sam
