By asset allocation, I am referring to the % of assets one allocates to various investment vehicles - real estate, cash, bonds, cds, new economy stocks, old economy stocks, what have you.

As you probably know, outside my decent real estate equities, I was 100% invested in new economy stocks, and found the heat of this decline too much to bear. So I'm researching a more optimal allocation. Granted, there are dozens of books on the subject, but the perspectives of those who understand the ramifications of the new economy would be most helpful.
