Ray. Thanks for the input. Since starting this thread, I discovered an article written by Inv. Bus. Daily which quotes a court case from 1976 that says that in order to be considered a trader you must be doing short-term trading rather than long-term holding and income must be derived from gains rather than dividends or interest. I am planning to submit this information and your input to the local IRS and see what happens. I am trading thru Brown and Co. and using SIGNAL for the quotes. I just upgraded to their international feed 4.3 version. Peter
