Rumors by: jllgml 5/19/00 11:41 am Msg: 1108 of 1109 This is for hsgisme! I have been following and stock trading IVI checkmate for 5 years now and I noticed that you like IVI as well! I am certain that you are aware that the US is a huge market for electronic payment since americans prefer payment by check and only a handfull of huge companies such as Veriphone with Hewlett, Gemplus, Ingenico and Hypercom are in the business of electronic payment but Gemplus & Ingenico are the leaders and they are not on the US stock exchange and I'm certain that that will soon change. IVI checkmate already distributes Ingenico products in North America but they already mentionned that they want to widen there horizons as you surely saw the news date 05-17-00 contract with Olivetti. There are lots of rumors and if you follow Ingenico at there last stock holders assembly on 05-05-2000 they accepted a share holder equity or issue a sizeable debenture. Financial analysts in Europe closely follow Ingenico since they think Ingenico will buy Gemplus. I don't think that Ingenico will buy Gemplus because the founding president of Gemplus bough 30% of Ingenico. Now with all of this I hope that you selected the right company
