George, yep...it may well be that the XAU will test the upper boundary of the wedge it recently broke out of from above before beginning to run in earnest. probably next week's BoE auction will be the all-clear. anyway, i'm not too worried about how long it might take, as long as we get a strong run once things get going. agreed on the ramp being pathetic...those keep failing lately.
