Another very positive news release by the company
"Mr. Jim Norrie reports
The company has received its full operating permit for the Peace River
silica sand plant and development. Approvals were received from Alberta
Environment, the Natural Resources Conservation Board and the government of
Alberta.
The full operating permit now allows the company to aggressively pursue
long-term supply contracts for the supply of silica sand to major users in
Western Canada, the Pacific Northwest United States and the Pacific Rim."
Read the above carefully. The Pacific Rim means the company must be talking to major customers in that area which would greatly increase the amounts of frac sands that could be sold under the new expanded license. This means that the silica sands produced as a by product would be of sufficient quantity to assure potential customers for this product of continuous and unlimited supplies to meet these needs. It greatly enhances the opportunity for UIS to be involved in the possible development of a secondary industrial area being developed in Alberta or some Western Canadian location for a major glass manufacturing plant.
This would greatly increase the revenues of the company and accelerate the day when earnings start to play an important measuring stick as to the fundamental value of the company.
Congratulations to Mr J. Norrie and staff- their dreams have taken a giant step towards realization.
