Greg, you seem to have a "let them eat cake!" attitude <g>. Who pays the manager's salary? For a medical billing manager to work in a more "efficient" manner, they would have to ignore rejection of payments notices or not follow up on that overdue $50 tab. But what if I told you that Medicare will put a doctor in jail **if the doctor does not diligently pursue payment of deductibles**. So the doctor is screwed. If he/she follows your adivce and works for less then they can get, they can go to jail. If they go after the Medicare patient to pay their bills, you want them shamed.

Anyway, your point about HLTH helping out here is a good one, and the reason I am hopeful for this company.
