It always does. People are flip flopping their options positions to buy more time.

Volume is always big on the witching days.

If things were really bad we would have seen greater volume on Thursday's drop.

Overall, too many of us are looking at too small of a time frame.

Small time frames are for CD's and lowinterest bearing bonds.

Open that window a few months and we may be sitting pretty again.

Seesaws, rollercoasters, and the markets go up and down. They are all fun. However if it makes you sick, it's not a good idea to stay on the ride.

I remember feeling real sick on one of those pirate ship rides at the amusement park. It was a huge boat like ride shaped like a ship.
It rocked way up and way down like a pendulum.

I always found it to be fun.

One time after lunch, I was on it. The rocking got to bee too much for me.

My Dad, who didn't want to see me puke all over the place told me to look straight out at the horizon. Keep focused.
Don't think about the boat's movement.
Just ride it out, calm down, and look at the horizon.

It worked like a charm.

I'm trying hard to apply it now to this market.

It's bound to get fun again...
