Duker and all: Isn't it a bit unusual for CFMT to release 'preliminary' quarterly results? Any thoughts on why it was done?

A couple of possibilities:

1) The runup in stock price made management nervous, since they knew there were some aspects of the quarterly results that would disappoint. Perhaps they thought it would be better to release preliminary results in order to stop the runup before it got way out of hand. (Any shareholders who would have purchased CFMT at $20 this week, had it gotten so high, likely would be very pissed at the time of the earnings release and some might have been inclined to direct their anger at CFMT management).

2) Management wanted to get the 'bad' news out early to get the shock out of the way, hoping that the upcoming conference call will focus more on longer-term visibility, which could be more positive.

Any other ideas out there?

Gary
