Yaacov, I would venture to guess that if the bond market is in trouble due to a sharp sell off in the dollar the Fed would have an agenda to attract foreign investors by boosting the yield curve at the short end. I don't know how much the market at this juncture would tolerate without a negative reaction but I can see that the increasing of interest rates is most probable when the FOM meets May 20th. Frank
