neat tip....

"Clean Up That Clutter
The Windows 98 desktop is a convenient place to put stuff, but do you
ever put so much stuff there that you can't find what you're looking for?
Get organized! Put the files on your desktop into folders arranged by topic:

1.Right-click a blank area of your desktop (if you can find one).
2.Choose New, Folder.

Voila! A new folder appears. Now type a descriptive name for the folder,
such as Work Memos or Pictures for Mom. Then drag and drop files into the
folders to organize them. Double-click a folder when you want to view or
open the files in that folder."
