Despite the difficulties, SAP is not another Baan. Baan's eventual implosion was evident to anyone who took the time to read the 10Ks. A very interesting company trying to grow too damned fast and taking ill advised short cuts while continuing to behave as though it were still a small, local, family-owned company. As for the arrogance, perhaps the current market is beating it out of them? But I still wouldn't be a buyer of the stock quite yet.
