What is the potential downside?

I don't hear arguments that the projections for DSL growth are wrong. CMTN currently has a big slice of the DSL action. If they can just retain market share and profit margins they will rise with the projections in growth for DSL data services and be up 500% in a couple of years. (I believe analysts are projecting about 200% revenue growth for CMTN 2000.)

This does not take into account the potential for voice over DSL, which is a space CMTN are just starting to enter.

The risk, as always, comes from the competition. What competition does CMTN have and what pressure will that bring to bear on market share and profit margins? The only big risk, IMO, is if CSCO, LU etc. decide to muscle in, but CMTN has LU contracted as a reseller until Nov 2001 and if CSCO decided to enter this space they would probably do it by buying CMTN.
