Manfred,

I think it is a tossup on CSCO. That is why I said "for a while anyway". Normally they will bounce real good the 1st (emphasis on 1st) time they hit any major MA. CSCO is actually painting a FAIRLY nice candle Friday but with the rumor that Gary mentioned ... it may not hold the 200. Just have to see how it acts.

I usually don't read the street because of crazy Creamer but Gary Smith is a good TA person. We actually use some scans that he more or less invented.

As far as the Mulligan Market? More downside is probably coming but I will take it one day at a time. This may be just consolidation for more downside rather than upside. Consolidation works both ways. People have been brainwashed to stay bullish. Guessing the bottom is practiced by most of the people and that is a losing proposition because they guess it and then stay long rather than flipping the trade when it doesn't work out. I am sure you have heard "The only difference between a short term investor and a long term investor is that a long term investor is a short term investor that didn't sell when they should have".

I actually went long CSCO at 52 and change yesterday (why, because I knew it would try to hold the support at 53 1/8) but had to get out and go back short when I saw the sellers hit it 54 and change just before the close. As I told Gary I didn't know about the rumor but I SAW IT in the charts. Now Gary calls that guessing and luck ... so be it..he can THINK whatever he likes but that is the strength of reading charts -- letting the chart tell you what SHOULD happen and if it doesn't get out or switch the trade.

Now I know this will probably be an offensive post to some on this thread but they can just skip it if they don't like it or put me on their IGNORE list.

Oh, BTW, that link (just reading it in your post) appears to be for a doubleclick add. Didn't try it cause I don't like doubleclick. g

Monty

PS BTW, Ed .... have a nice day!
