Corel is in a world of financial hurt and things look even more desperate around the corner with falling sales and a weak effort in a saturated market -- Linux doesn't need a Windows emulator to run Corel's ancient bloatware. In the meantime, JC is obsessed with defending Cowpland. The idea that they have a leg to stand on in a lawsuit is laughable.

They bought dying products from vendors who considered the products distractions from their core businesses. Now that Corel's sales have plunged another 32% this year -- despite the glowing picture he painted for Inprise managment prior to the merger -- and they reportedly have only a few days of cash left. Well, I guess they sent the CFO out to make some sort of statement wherein he nervously repeated that
had plenty of cash, or words to that effect. Who's lying: the press or Corel?

JC was telling us all how Inprise was an weighing Corel down when CORL rose slightly more than INPR after their merger cancellation: now he's silent on the issue. You know, it would be one thing if anything you said had an ounce of credibility, but it's just empty pump-trash of no value to anybody. If Corel wants to take a pro-active role in masking the truth, they should consider people who don't come across and mindless stooges.
