Thomas carr I've only been trading and programming since 1969, so take my advice with a grain of salt(g). It appears your system uses moving averages, but my comments hold for any moving (anything). From a math point a view one can always find the perfect combo that produces a gain IN THE PAST, but trading is done "in the future" and what "moving some thing" worked in the past most likely will not work in the future. Take your system:(1) Use at least 7 years of data. (2) Divide times into 4 parts. (3) See if you get good results in all 4 time parts. Larry Dudash
