greg, that is fair. i think this economy is comprised of more smoke and mirrors than you do. i know 50% of gdp growth is faked through statistical manipulations (hedonic pricing) implemented in 1996 and i know that the cpi is rigged to stay low (items whose prices move up are given a reduced weighting).

at some point, these lies will come back to get us.

but, alas, it may be a while and 2900 might be a good low for a couple of years.
