VIGN reference in 5/22/2000 Barrons

Q: Didn't CNET also make a nice return from investing in Vignette?
A: When we launched our site in June of '95, we needed a content-publishing system. So we had a really good technology team and basically built that technology for ourselves. And people said, "Gosh, that's a very unique product. Is there a way we can license it?" We weren't in the software business. We met the people at Vignette and entered into a business deal where we contributed the rights to our technology into Vignette. We also contributed $500,000. And we ended up with about a one-third interest in Vignette.

Q: Which is worth roughly what?
A: We have about three million shares. So it's worth about $133 million now. But additionally, over time, we sold probably $185 million worth.
