You brought to light an important subject concerning the christian's walk-especially here in America. Where I go to church, there is emphasis on missions, along with helping those more unfortunate than ourselves here in the states.

Nevertheless, I find even in my church tremendous self-centeredness. I'm not trying to find fault, it's just so obvious at times. It's a fight that I personally contend with daily and am thankful that I can at least recognize it. Some believers are so self consumed, that they can't see past their nose to their neighbors sorrows. I can't tell you the numbers of believers who have no idea what's going on in the Sudan, China etc. etc. let alone here in the US with babies getting slaughtered, body parts being sold and so on on a daily basis. When subjects like these are brought up, many will respond with a "How sad!" and yet continue focusing only on their own confusion.

Reaching out will bring light and true abundance whereas focusing within leaves us desolate. God Bless.
