SURVERY ENDED - OVER 80% PRO MODERATED THREAD

BUT NO MODERATED THREAD FOR NOW

Since the results of the survey (mainly via PM) was overwhelmingly in favor of a moderated thread, I actually was in the process of starting one before I realized that it does not serve the intended purpose.

The moderated thread will exclude individuals completely, which each of us can do easily by just using the "Ignore" feature. Looking back at the last few hundred posts, I only counted 4-5 individuals who I believe would receive unanimous ouster votes.

I was under the impression that the moderated thread would give me the ability to, as an example, delete every other posts from Ruffian. Seriously, I thought the moderated feature allows me to get rid of meaningless posts. (isn't that the feature for yahoo clubs?)

Oh well, I guess it is back to thread Nazi method for now. I have added one item to the simple thread rules that I think would eliminate a good part of our current problem.
