Clappers - thank you. I should have known that. When we first moved to the West Coast in 1981, we carried a 18.5% mortgage, so I have experienced what runaway inflation can do.
You know, on some threads where I lurk and some clubs that I'm a member of, I've encountered hostility, criticism, pettiness, not necessarily directed towards me, but it's there, and it's counterproductive.
I lurk everywhere - but I post here because I don't have to worry about being embarrassed by asking a silly question - like the one you responded to. I'm more likely to be ignored than criticized and that's okay. The important thing is there is no meanness here.
Sometimes I try to be funnier than I am. It might work, it might not.
But, I never, ever try to be smarter than what I am. What you see, is what you get; in this case, its what you read, is what I am. Thanks again.
Now, its a long weekend in Canada (Monday is Victoria Day) and I'm outta here.
Hope everyone has a good one.
