Gene: After taking another look at the Roadmaps in Peter Macwilliams' presentation that you sent ('..Roadmap Update' - IDF 2/00)and Gelsinger and Yu ('Client Architecture..' - IDF 2/00) and comparing them to the pcwelt roadmap, it appears that the pcwelt map (and probably the story) is quite old. Should've picked up on this when I first looked at the translation. 815 isn't on it, and the dates do not reflect the phase shift that occurred w/ Caminogate: 820 in early '99, Willamette in early 2000, Timna as RDRAM only in early 2000. Somewhere in a corn field in New Jersey, the Martians have landed... Oh, the horror... A beast named Armador... Why isn't Carl here to address all of this inconsistency? Must be busy buying Biotek stocks.. BP
