Al,

<Seems like Intel has DDR skunkworks under way.

theregister.co.uk;

I checked out the PCwelt site. They aretalking about "Armador". I have posted about "Amador" last year as a PIII chipset with PC133/DDR. This seems to have now become Wilamette chipset (probably not a huge change). Given all the Intel rhetoric about the desktop staying with DRDRAM and no DDR roadmap, Intel longs better hope this will be ready for primetime before Christmas. [and AMD longs hope the opposite ;-) ]

<What is the magnitude of Intel's Rambus equity investment?>

I believe this has not been revealed. Does anyone know if that has changed. Nevertheless, whatever it is, it is probably not big enough to make up for the product slips that we have seen.
