Derrick Jefferson is a heavy hitter, but I'm sticking with my prediction of Maskaev in 6.

I'm lucky tonight, 2 for 2 both quantitative and qualitative. Rahman won, as predicted, but as lame as I've come to expect lately.

The Maskaev-Jefferson fight was stopped in the 4th after Jefferson APPARENTLY hurt his leg. Sorry folks, but in my humble opinion, I smell another Orlin Norris-type surrender here, not to mention that Jefferson fought sloppily and wide open, and, Maskaev is quick and powerful on the inside. It's one thing to throw what we used to call "meatballs:" wide, looping headhunter shots. It's quite another to have your arm bent at a right angle and, with a swift, powerful pivot - within a foot or so of space, virtually in a clutch - rip one in there powerfully enough to knock a guy down.

I note that Jefferson's "hurt" knee didn't keep him from pursing Oleg quite nimbly and aggressively in the third when he thought he had him hurt, AND that those grimaces and the limping were all the more pronounced with each resounding head shot by Maskaev. I fully believe that by the 6th, "bum leg" or none, Derrick would have been KO'ed, with or without the preceding T.

That's my take on the issue(s). Agreement or disagreement?
