I'm still here NSB,

I see you picked up on my comment, and btw, thank you for your discretion. :-)

I don't have a problem with alternative fuels, but I do have a problem with them as far as investment vehicles. Seems to me these type of investments kind of run in cycles. I remember when recycling was gearing up and the companies which went public based on recyclables as commodities which could turn profits. Where are those companies now? Great intentions gave us an alternative to our refuge problems, (although it certainly never solved it) but I don't know anyone bragging about all the money they made from owning those types of companies.

I also believe there are so many systems which are dependent on oil that it will be many, many years before systems, meaningful systems, come into play which will dramatically alter our general energy use and needs. But I certainly do favor a continuation of going forward in anticipation of what I believe will be a need for alternatives.

One other thing which occurs to me. Right winggers or Left winggers are both essential in the advancement of ideas. Two of each or one but not the other and the bird won't fly. Ying needs Yang.

Lastly, just as a general thought contributed to no particular posting, I'd like those who think population isn't a problem to consider what our landscape would look like if everyone living in a multi-unit dwelling was to be placed in a single family home. Perhaps this will better demonstrate just how crowded this planet is getting.

Whenever next time is,

Mike

P.S. I'm going to bed.
